NEW DELHI — Skoda Auto India has officially revealed the 2026 Slavia facelift, bringing few design updates, feature enhancements, and a brand-new 8-speed automatic gearbox. Pre-bookings for the updated midsize sedan are now open, with official prices expected to be announced shortly.

The facelifted Slavia has an evolutionary styling approach. While maintaining its familiar silhouette, the front fascia sports a revised grille, sleeker fog lamps, restyled bumpers, and new LED headlights featuring an updated DRL signature. At the rear, the sedan gains refreshed LED tail lights paired with sequential turn indicators. Dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels come standard, while the range-topping Monte Carlo variant features blacked-out alloy wheels, red brake calipers, distinctive fender badging, subtle aero accents, and a sportier red-and-black cabin theme.
Buyers can select from 10 total color choices, including two new shades: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige (with Cappuccino Beige shipments scheduled to begin in December 2026).

Inside, the dashboard layout remains intact, but technology and convenience receive a noticeable boost. Highlighting the cabin upgrades are a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit offering wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Google Cloud-backed AI voice capabilities. Premium additions include a 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable ventilated front seats, and a segment-first rear-seat massage function. Standard equipment carried over includes six airbags, a single-pane sunroof, rear AC vents, and wireless phone charging. However, an ADAS safety suite and dedicated rear climate controls are notably absent.

Under the hood, the headline mechanical update is an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission paired with the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine (115 bhp, 178 Nm), replacing the older 6-speed unit. The 1.0L engine also retains its 6-speed manual option. Meanwhile, the performance-oriented 1.5-litre TSI engine (148 bhp, 250 Nm) continues exclusively with a 7-speed DSG automatic on the top-tier Prestige and Monte Carlo trims, dropping the previous manual option.
With these comprehensive updates, the facelifted Slavia aims to cement its status as a key contender in India’s sedan market against rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and Volkswagen Virtus.
